When Have You Given a Tactic a Fair Trial?

There’s no single universal number of attempts that applies to every tactic: a tactic aimed at a small, known group of contacts and a tactic aimed at broad public visibility don’t reach a fair-trial point on the same schedule.

What’s consistent is this: your own Blueprint’s Timing guidance for that specific tactic was written for exactly this question. It tells you when to begin, when follow-up is due, and when it’s reasonable to evaluate the result. Check that section before deciding a tactic isn’t working.

One attempt is almost never enough on its own. Whatever your Blueprint’s specific guidance says, judge against a real trial (completed executions with completed follow-up), not a single first touch.

If you’re not sure whether you’ve given a tactic a fair trial yet, go back to your Blueprint’s Timing guidance for that tactic and confirm the intended executions and follow-up were actually completed. That’s the real test, not a feeling of certainty either way.
